Course Objectives The course aims to provide fundamental knowledge about how individuals and groups behave in organizations and provide insight into how this knowledge may be applied to improve performance and organizational effectiveness. The course also aims to have students analyze and diagnose organizational issues and provide solutions.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • define individual factors related to organizational behavior such as personality, attitude, values and motivation.
  • define group level factors related to organizational behavior such as groups and teams, leadership, politics and power.
  • develop decision making skills on various interpersonal and organizational issues.
  • explain human behaviors and relationships in organizations using organizational behavior theories.
  • develop principles regarding management based on theoretical knowledge on human behaviors.

Course Description Individual behaviors, personality, work values, motivation, groups and teams, motivation, leadership, power, conflict and negotiation in organizations are some of the topics included in this course.
